A full-service project should be viewed as an investment in your quality of life as well as an investment in your home. 

A successful project begins with realistic investment expectations and a shared understanding of scope. During the initial call and Discovery Meeting, we discuss your goals, priorities, timeline, and investment parameters so the project can be thoughtfully planned from the beginning.

For full-service work, investment is typically considered in three parts: design fees, product investment, and construction or trade-related costs. Design fees cover our creative work, planning, specifications, design documentation, coordination, and professional guidance. Product investment includes furnishings, fixtures, finishes, materials, window treatments, custom pieces, and other items sourced for the project. Construction, contractor labor, permit fees, and trade-related costs are separate and are handled directly with the appropriate professionals.

Yes. Full-service projects typically require a meaningful scope, often involving multiple rooms or connected spaces. This allows us to create a cohesive design rather than addressing rooms in isolation.

This allows us to source thoughtfully and execute the design with the level of quality, cohesion, and customization required for a polished result.

Each full-service project is quoted individually based on scope, complexity, deliverables, and the level of involvement required.

Our proposals clearly outline the design fee, defined project phases, scope of work, and the level of support required to move the project from concept to completion.

Full-service projects also include a project-specific product investment minimum for furnishings, fixtures, finishes, materials, or window treatments, established according to the scope. This allows us to source appropriately, maintain quality, and protect the integrity of the final design.

Construction labor, contractor fees, permit fees, and trade costs are separate from Raashi Design’s design fees and procurement-related costs.

Every project is different. Timeline depends on the size and complexity of the scope, client decision turnaround time, construction conditions, contractor schedules, material availability, custom work, product lead times, and installation requirements.

As a general planning range, furnishing-focused projects often take approximately 5 months to a year from design start to final installation, depending on the number of spaces involved and the level of furnishings, custom work, and finishing layers required.

Renovation-led and new construction projects can vary more significantly, often ranging from approximately 9 months to 2 years or more, depending on the size of the scope, complexity of construction, permitting, contractor timelines, and implementation requirements.

We review timing in more detail once the scope is defined and continue to guide the process with as much clarity and coordination as possible.

Yes, when appropriate. Phasing can be helpful for larger projects, but it should be planned thoughtfully so the overall design remains cohesive.

Because pricing, product availability, materials, and scope can change over time, each phase may require updated pricing, product review, or a separate agreement. We discuss the best approach during the proposal stage.

Yes. Depending on the scope, we prepare the drawings, schedules, specifications, and documentation needed to communicate the design clearly to contractors, trades, vendors, and workrooms.

This can include space plans, elevations, lighting design and specifications, finish schedules, fixture specifications, cabinetry details, furniture specifications, window treatment details, and documentation for custom pieces such as bespoke furniture, custom rugs, upholstery, built-ins, and specialty finishes.

This helps ensure the approved design is clearly communicated and carried through with consistency and accuracy during implementation.

Depending on the project type and scope, we collaborate with architects, engineers, builders, general contractors, trades, vendors, workrooms, and other professionals involved in bringing the design to life.

Raashi Design is an interior design studio and does not provide architectural, engineering, or construction services directly. Our role is to develop and communicate the interior design vision, provide design details and specifications, answer design-related questions, and support the implementation of the approved design.

This collaboration helps ensure the interior details are considered, coordinated, and aligned with the overall design intent.

Yes. Raashi Design does not have contractors on our team or provide construction services directly. Clients hire their own contractor, builder, or tradespeople for renovation and construction-related work.

We are happy to collaborate with the professionals you choose, provided they are licensed, experienced, professional, communicative, and willing to work collaboratively with the design team.

We also have long-standing relationships with a trusted network of contractors and trades we have worked with over the years. When appropriate, we can provide referrals for clients who need help identifying the right professionals for their project. Because we have worked alongside many of these trades for years, there is often a shared understanding of expectations, communication, and the level of detail required.

All contracts, scheduling, payments, and construction-related agreements are handled directly between the client and the contractor or trade professional.

For renovation or construction-related projects, any design changes that affect the approved plan should be reviewed with Raashi Design so the design intent remains consistent.

Procurement is an important part of our full-service design process because a beautiful design depends on careful execution.

For the items we specify, Raashi Design acts as the retailer and manages the procurement process from purchase proposals and order details to vendor communication, receiving coordination, inspection, delivery planning, installation coordination, and final placement.

This allows us to help protect the design intent, manage product details, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the approved selections are carried through with consistency. It also reduces the burden on our clients, who would otherwise need to manage orders, freight, damage claims, storage, delivery coordination, and installation logistics on their own.

Our projects are built around trade, custom, and preferred vendor sources that allow us to maintain quality, scale, finish control, product support, and a cohesive design vision.

We rely on long-standing relationships with trusted vendors, manufacturers, artisans, and specialty resources developed over many years. These relationships, combined with our product knowledge and experience, allow us to source from quality product lines, customize existing pieces, or create custom elements when the project calls for something more specific.

Custom elements may include bespoke furniture, custom rugs, upholstery, built-ins, specialty finishes, window treatments, or other tailored pieces created specifically for the home. We define the key details needed to bring each piece to life, including dimensions, materials, finishes, functional requirements, and the overall design intent.

This gives us the ability to select the right resources for each project and manage the process with greater clarity, consistency, and attention to detail.

Items specified by Raashi Design are purchased through our studio as part of the design process. If there are pieces you already own or specific items you would like us to consider, we can review them during design development.

Yes. Full-service interior design is our primary offering, but select consultation services are offered on a limited basis for clients who need focused professional guidance and are prepared to manage implementation independently.

These services are separate from our full-service process and are intentionally limited in scope, offering focused guidance rather than comprehensive design development, procurement, or implementation support.

Yes. Once the project is complete and the finished spaces are ready, Raashi Design coordinates professional photography to document the work.

Photography is scheduled after installation. Before the photoshoot, we style the spaces with carefully selected accessories, accents, and finishing touches so the design is captured at its best. Following the photoshoot, clients have the option to purchase any styling pieces they would like to keep.

Project photography allows us to preserve the story of the home and share completed work through our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials. Client privacy and project details are handled thoughtfully, and any specific privacy concerns can be discussed as part of the project agreement and photography planning.
